The first time I got a defective item, I just feel annoyed, The front of the lights could use a clear plastic covering of some sort so that the LED’s won’t accidentally get broken off for some reason. The overall build quality is pretty bad. The arm used to wind the flashlight is very, very flimsy and I was very afraid of it breaking off. The thing that is supposed to spin at the tip of the winding arm does not spin making the winding very difficult. The worst thing about the product is that the inner mechanisms break VERY EASILY. After winding it around 10 times, the gears broke or went out of alignment and I could not recharge the flashlights.

So I open a ticket to contact the customer service, and try to find a way to solve my issue. To my surprised, they reply me very fast and gave me a very satisfied solution-they send me a replacement without hesitate. After 2 weeks, I got this item 2 days ago. I think this time I am lucky. Because the flashlight work perfectly, and I like it very much. There are a few things this time s that is nice about this product that initially lured me into buying it. It is a key chain that fits perfectly with my keys. The silver coating seemed to stay on during the time it worked. And the light was pretty strong for the little key chain it is. Battery takes longer to charge than advertised. The battery does not hold charge well after first running down. The inner gears sound like they slip, maybe the reason it takes longer to recharge the battery. Pin holding chain is cheap plastic and breaks easily.

This little flashlight is amazing, period. First of all, it’s incredible tiny. Even more incredible considering it has a dynamo in it. But do not fear: it’s pretty bright. And the flashlights hold charge. I already got a few pieces of these and more and more friends and family ask me for one when they see mine. This one has all my love. It could have something to cover the little led. But they are still intact in the one I use daily. When people see this little thing they ask for one. That’s all I have to say. You can keep inside your pockets easily; there is nothing bad about this one.
Don’t waste your time with other fenix flashlight. Get this one. This is only good for the kids to play around with. This isn’t going to help you when there’s a power outage. It may help you find the keyhole at night.
